VC5 (Foam Cartridge) System

TIPS SHEET

~Helpful tips for the beginner and the experienced~

Thank you for purchasing your new e-Cig from Vaper’s Corner. Here are a few basic tips to get you started vaping.

  • Replace the empty display cartridge on your atomizer with a sealed one from the bottom of your kit before first use
  • Manual Kits: Press and hold the button for 1 second before taking a drag, continue to hold down during the drag, then release.
  • Automatic Kits: Take a quick primer puff to start the battery, then a slow drag into the mouth and inhale
  • New atomizers have to break in. The initial taste will improve and the atomizer will produce large plumes of vapor after a few hours of use.
  • When the LED at the end of the battery flashes, or doesn’t light up, it’s ready to be recharged. Screw onto charger until lightly snug. Sometimes the battery light will flash before it is completely screwed in all the way and if you stop at this point it will not fully charge.
  • To clean a cartridge: Remove the filter material with tweezers or a toothpick, rinse with water, squeeze dry with a paper towel and re-insert into cartridge. Refill with 10 to 12 drops of e-Juice.
  • Keep out of reach of children and animals. Avoid contact with eyes. If you get e-Juice on your skin, wash with soap and water.

Cleaning
~perform every couple of days~

Cartridges:
Always remove the cartridge from the atomizer by pulling straight off, never twist.  Twisting off can break the wic in the bottom of the atomizer.  Remove fuzzy white material from the cartridge and rinse under cool water.  Pat dry with a paper towel and re-insert with a toothpick or tweezers. This will remove gummed up juice and dramatically improve the juice flow and flavor.

Battery, Atomizer, Charger:
The connection points of the e-cig get dirty over time and will not allow it to charge completely or burn at full capacity. For best results clean the screw threads of the battery and atomizer with a paper towel dipped in purified, un-perfumed alcohol at least once a week. Unplug the charging unit from the wall outlet and squeeze excess alcohol from towel before cleaning the receptacle’s threads. Allow to dry thoroughly before use. Once all these are clean you should get a full charge on your batteries and the atomizers will burn at full heat/duration.

******* Assorted Tips *******

Burning or Hot Drags:
If the e-Cig burns your throat when you take a drag, the atomizer is not getting enough juice.  Either your cartridge is empty or the fuzzy resiviour material is holding the juice too tight.  Try the "Improve Juice Flow" tip below and you'll notice a world of difference.

Improve Juice Flow!

Brand new cartridges can sometimes be a little too thick and restrict juice flow. One of the best things I've found is to keep a toothpick in my e-Cig case.  Slide it into the cartridge and down the side of the fuzzy, wiggle it around until the hole stays when the toothpick is removed, and fill with about 10-12 drops. This allows air to rise to the back of the cartridge as the juice feeds to the atomizer during vaping. Refills go much quicker and only take about 6 drops.

Changing Flavors:

For best results, dedicate a cartridge and atomizer to each flavor.  A cheaper alternative is to dedicate at least a cartridge to each flavor.
  • Disassemble e-Cig and set flavor #1 cartridge off to the side for later use
  • Blow through the atomizer into a paper towel. (Brass end to the towel) This will remove most of the juice from the heating element
  • Re-assemble the e-Cig with flavor #2 cartridge and prime the atomizer with 1 drop of the new flavor

e-Juice Bottles:

Do not over tighten!  The inner top portion of the childproof cap can crack and leak. Always tighten caps to where they are just snug.  If your cap has cracked, replace from an empty bottle of juice or keep upright.  Wash hands with soap and water.

Sounds:
Your e-Cig emulates a real cigarette in more ways than one.  The sound it produces can give you hints on your juice level.
  • No Sound - Probably low on juice, time for a refill.
  • Crackle - If it sounds like a real cigarette crackle as you take a drag, you're just right!
  • Gurgle - Gurgles tend to mean the cartridge was over filled and the atomizer is flooded.  Remove the atomizer from the cartridge and battery. Hold a paper towel over the brass tip as you blow through it to get the excess juice out. Re-assemble and retry.

VC51M/A Instructions

- Please read before operation -

First Use: The VC51 kits consist of 1 battery, 1 atomizer, 1 sealed cartridge, a 3ml bottle of e-Juice and a charger. Remove the empty display cartridge from the atomizer. Take the sealed cartridge from the bottom of the kit, add 10 – 12 drops of e-Juice and snap into atomizer. Screw on the battery and your VC5 is now ready for use. It is recommended to start off with small drags, working your way up to the volume that suites your smoking preference. Manual battery with button: Press and hold the button on the battery while taking a slow drag into the mouth, then inhale. Automatic battery without button: Take a quick primer puff to start the battery, then a slow drag into the mouth and inhale.

Cartridges: When vapor plume decreases, remove the cartridge and add drops of e-Juice until the reservoir material looks mushy. If too much juice is added and a puddle forms, simply dab with a tissue to remove the excess. The cartridge should be cleaned thoroughly if used for more than a few days.

Battery: The battery’s LED indicator will flash repeatedly when drained. Remove the atomizer and screw the battery into the charging receptacle until snug, then plug the charging unit into a wall outlet. The charger’s red indicator light will change from red to green when charging is complete. The battery lifespan is approximately 200 charges and is good for 200-250 puffs per charge. Batteries are Lithium Ion 3.7V supply. Wall charger input voltage is AC 100V-240V 50/60Hz.

Storage/Maintenance: Keep all e-cig materials and e-juices out of reach of children and animals. This device is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. Store in a dry area. For best results clean the screw threads of the battery and atomizer with a paper towel dipped in purified, un-perfumed alcohol once weekly. Unplug the charging unit from the wall outlet and squeeze excess alcohol from towel before cleaning the receptacle’s threads. Allow to dry thoroughly before use.

Caution: Do not carry assembled e-Cigs in a pocket or purse without a proper carrying case. Confined areas or other objects can press the button on your manual e-Cig and automatics are sensitive to sound and vibration. Remove the battery when carrying your e-Cig to avoid accidental ignition and burns.
